A remake is when you start from scratch again and create a whole new experience. Kind of like the movie "The thing" is actually a remake from an older movie "The Thing from Another World."
A remastered is like what George Lucas is doing with Star Wars on Blu-ray.
God of War and Shadow of the Colossus are just remastered, not remakes.
A better video game example would be Metal Gear Solid on the Gamecube, that was a remake....
If you like Kinect then go for it. I could care less if it were just like the eye toy.
The only turn off for me is the Games and price tag. Give it a year or so down the road and who knows what will happen. But as it stands, Kinect will not be in my living room.
Engadget recorded is pretty solid. So when they say this stuff is Legit, I would take their word for it. I know people are originally looking for nice shiny model but you have to remember that this is simply a leaked prototype.

yeaaaah. Its real indeed, it just seems unpolished because well you know its nothing more then a "working Prototype". More changes are on the way for sure.

If I was going to invest some cash in stocks, I wouldnt give MS a cent, just because their always up an down. Releasing something good then kill off something else. Not to mention MS doesnt ever seem to be leading the trend any more. You want to be ahead of the group to get that high cash flow going.
If any thing, i'd invest in Electric Cars. Not Tesla however, poor Tesla hasnt turned a profit in years...
Sony is far to large for Apple to acquire. if any thing it should be the other way around, Sony to buy Apple.
I did my best with what I had to work with. Sure it would of been great to have more numbers to work with but I did what I could and also tried to be fair as well. Sure, it wouldn't surprise me if Kinect was in development longer then 2 years and also wouldn't surprise me how much the software/tool development product cost. And your right, each game has a varied development/production cost, so it then became difficult to pin point just an all around number to work with on Game sales f...
MS pushing so desperately hard for the shovel ware loving casuals, is like pulling the trigger on the 360. The Xbox history which was an up hill battle but won the hearts of many, is about to go down in flames. The second Kinect goes on sale, MS direction will change forever. Gears 3 could possibly be the last 360 title I'll buy.
Its the sad truth, if Kinect is a huge hit, then expect nothing but shovel ware. The casuals with open wallets greatly out way the too picky ha...

$50 million is considered a High budget for big AAA games. So instead of producing 10 AAA exclusive games for the 360, MS goes and spends it all on ads with Oprah and Justin Beaver.

The only thing that could kill this phone off is the price. If its under $199.99 then yeah, its going to be for the most part solid in the cell phone market. If its $99.99, then ya, its going to tear up the cell phone ...
